This is a fairly good porter. Dark brown with tan head and coffee aroma. Full of chocolate and coffee flavors. Has a somewhat sweet taste.

12oz bottle, best by 11/18/14. Thanks to alexsdad06 for sharing. Clear brown, kind of red color. Thin ring of off-white head. Leaves decent bits of lace. Good coffee, chocolate aromas in the nose. Little bit of dark fruit. Nice full rich flavor for a 4% beer. Flavor of something 6% or more. Lighter body for sure, though. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Light chewiness, even. Moderate bitter taste, lighter sweet. Pretty impressive, flavorful sessionable brown porter. Kind of refreshing, even.

12 oz bottle from Santa. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a small beigehead. The aroma and flavor have roasted malt, ppowdery chocolate, light nutty character, smooth, soft finish, a mild earthy bitterness to the finish, a bit thin.

Pours a brown color with off-white head. Coffee and roasted malt mainly on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more roast.

Pours a reddish-black with a thin, tan head that dissipates quickly. Some lacing. Nose is dark-roasted malt with notes of chocolate. Taste is semi-sweet. A bit thin for me. Lively carbonation. Decent porter.

Bottle to pint glass. Dark brown pour with no head or lacing. Nose is roast, tiny bit of chocolate and not much else. Taste is much the same but with a slight bitterness on the back. Finish is decent. Just okay. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

tap at McStiff’s - I tried polygamy and it was kind of a letdown. The beer pours near black with a small tan head. It has a mild, chocolate led aroma. The flavor is sweet with some roast character and chocolate malt. It’s weak for a porter and rather watery. It’s alright, but a little underwhelming.

Dark brown, medium body. Chocolate, malty flavors. Smooth. Not a huge fan of porters, but this one isn’t bad
