This is a fairly good porter. Dark brown with tan head and coffee aroma. Full of chocolate and coffee flavors. Has a somewhat sweet taste.

Bottle @ home from Harmon's SLC. Pours and looks like a Coke. Smells s but like milk chocolate. By UT state law 4%. It is a bit light. Chicory, brown sugar. Not much kick or bitter. Meh...

Look - Draft Pour yields a nice off-white head that dissipates rapidly. Not much lacing. Opaque black coloring. Smell - Loads of coffee. Smells bitter if that’s possible. Taste - Very light on the coffee tasting hop bitterness. That’s about all I get. Not much chocolate or anything else you’d expect. Maybe a little cocoa. The bitter finish lasts and sits on the tongue. Feel - Feels very carbonated and crisp. Not necessarily a good thing for me. I like this style to be silky. Overall - Not to my liking compared to many other widely distributed porters. Not terrible though. I probably wouldn’t get it again. Almost seems watered down.

Nice rich nutty aromas. Deep mahogany brown with nice lasting tan head. A bitter nut taste, with a both of over roasted coffee.

Draft at Squatters. A light porter with mild taste and aroma. Nothing unlike able, but on the thin side of palate.

Aroma is heavily roasted malts, caramel, toffee, coffee, espresso. Taste is sweet roasted malts, chocolate and light bittering hops. Finishes slightly watered down sadly. Appearance is black with a thin pearl head that retains fairly poorly.

On tap @ Squatters. Dark brown in color with a sort of reddish hue and some tan foam. Toasty, nutty, and fruity nose. A lot of plum and raisin in particular. Somewhat acidic and thin on the palate. There’s a bunch of roasted malts, some coffee grounds, and dark fruits. Not really a big fan.
