3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: NOV 17, 2011 Purchased on my trip to Vegas at the Total Wine store. Second of two pumpkin ales tonight (the other being the Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat). Pours a deep amber colour with a beige head that stays a bit more than the ST and lacing is much better. Tiny particles float around and a little haziness installs itself at the last pour. Pumpkin nose with hints of spices (nutmeg) and soap. The taste is a bit more on the cloves side of things, with hints of pumpkin and a bread finish. Still, everything is pretty mild as this is a light beer at 4% ABV. Not sure if I prefer it to the Shock Top version.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dull amber pour with a small amount of white head. Aromas of cinnamon, pumpkin, clove, and allspice. Flavor is lots of spices - cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg - but not overpowering. Body is lacking a bit but overall has lots of good flavor and is very balanced.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Amberish, a bit hazy, lively carbonation, thin to moderate white head, spotty lacing.   Spiced nose, a bit of candle, otherwise pumpkin pie, cinnamon, and nutmeg.   Wow, on the tongue its much more subtle.   Spices arent as big as the nose suggested.   Thats good considering the biggest thing about this was the candle like aroma.   Not too bright tho, spices arent very sweet.   They fade, leaving a bit of that candle I got on the nose.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Lingering scented candle.   Spices need to be stronger to combat that waxiness.   Thanks for the bottles Dallas!

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a thick and glassy amber with a lively body and a thick off-white head. Aroma is an assertive yet delightfully restrained blend of nutmeg, pumpkin, and cinammon. Flavor is a disappointing seltzer water with nutmeg and cinammon thrown in as an afterthought. Watery mouthfeel. Old bottle? Very watery and half-assed.

Draft at brewpub. Easily the best beer here. Big pumpkin pie on the nose. The flavors hit you in waves on the tongue. Very bold yet subtle somehow. Fantastic!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(12oz bottle) clear medium amber with no real head. nose of cinnamon, apples, light clove, and pumpkin purée. Smells spiced just the right amount. Taste of cinnamon, butter, clove, nutmeg. A little light in body and a tad watery but it does make it very smooth and drinkable. Overall a very solid pumpkin beer.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours deep orange brown with a large tan head. Smells like pumpkin pie: strong spices and lots of real pumpkin aromas. Taste is really sweet, spiced and strong pumpkins. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and decent mouth-carbonation, Wasatch Pumpkin Ale finishes with a touch of bitterness.
