mikey (319), farmington, Utah, USA May 8, 2008 Poured a clear copper hue with a small cap of white foam. The nose was spicy with nutmeg, allspice and malt. The taste starts malty and nutty with great cinnamon and nutmeg essence. The pumpkin pie flavor is right on. the end is clean with a slight hopiness. The finish was slightly sweet.
mmather (112), Colorado, USA Apr 27, 2008 from a 12 oz bottle. nice pumpkin spice aroma, thin head, a bit fizzy. First impressions were wonderful, but as you drink more and more of it, the spices have a bit of astringency and bitterness to them that conflicts with the idea of most pumpkin beers. Still a very nice effort though. SuperDave70 (652), Arizona, USA Oct 31, 2007 Updated: Jan 14, 2008Wow, as pumpkin beers go, this one is fantastic! Pours a light brown with a thin white head from a 12 oz bottle. Aroma is nutmeg and cinnamon. But the taste, it’s like a pumpkin pie in the face. I definately could not drink this regularly, but it is a tasty fall beverage. douglas88 (641), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Oct 28, 2007 Bottle. Pours a light brown with a small head. The taste is mostly a light spice, with some hints of pumpkin and hops. Quite light and thin, but pretty good. kitschy (120), Nebraska, USA Oct 16, 2007 at gabf. now here is a winning pumpkin beer! evoking pumpkin pie at its finest, with a nice hearty palate, malt to fill things out, pumpkin texture, delicious spices, and an imagined whipped cream topping.
