We love raspberries. We love beer. Joining the two seemed natural, and like other natural things to do, it spawned something beautiful. You’ll love getting to know this member of the Wasatch family!

From a bottle while vacationing near Zion Nat. Park in Utah. Aroma was of raspberries, cloves and light hops. Taste as similar in nature - Raspberry was evident up-front but was not too prevalent - just right. Palate was nice. Overall, a pretty good fruit/wheat brew.

Raspberry, sweet aroma. Similar flavor--with some light biscuit-y malt that comes out more in the finish/aftertaste. Pretty good balance; the malt flavor is light, but not overwhelmed by the raspberry.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. The aroma is raspberry, doughy, an almost Belgian yeast quality. The flavor is watery, slight dough, raspberry. Very light on the palate. No real flaws other then being extremely light bodied.

12oz bottle picked up at Smiths
Appearance: Pours slightly cloudy with a medium sized white head and some lacing
Aroma: Sweet raspberries, wheat and yeast
Taste: Sweet (waxy) raspberries and wheat
Footbalmed, sweet and tastes like artificial fruit.

Too damn fruity. Putrid artificial raspberry taste ruined this one. If I wanted a fruity drink I’d buy wine.

Bottle consumed in Park City, Utah. Nose: Raspberries. One-dimensional. Taste: medium sweet, light bitter, medium sour. Quite lively and very well-defined rasberry, not artificial. Wheat does play a roll here (despite its absence on the nose) and gives a very freshly baked background to the raspberries. Some distant vanilla too. Very comfortable mouth-feel.

on tap in park city 7/21/10. clear orange gold pour with a white head. it smells like sticky sweet artificial raspberries, slate, a touch tart and a little dust. the flavor is mostly like the aroma... only not nearly as sweet as the aroma made me believe. it is crisp and prickly though it grows watery as it sits.5/3/5/3/13/2.9

Courtesy of douglas88. Pours amber with a white head. Smells of raspberry, some citrus, wheat, buttery. Tastes of pepper, wheat, raspberry. Sweet finish.

Courtesy of douglas88. 12oz bottle pours clear gold with short lived white head. The modest aroma exudes raspberry and maybe a distant echo of wheat. The taste is much the same beginning with a slight sharp carbonation enhanced raspberry tartness. It quickly becomes sweet with a sensation of raspberry extract and notes of wheat. It ends with a sticky wheat sort of coating inside my mouth.

A few things about this beer: it’s a micro brew that has grown popular, and the recipe is apparently not quite down. Some bottles are divine, others are only so/so. In short, the quality varies. It also boasts a higher alcohol content than the average grocery store bought beer in Utah, but pales in comparison to its neighboring states. The beer: Strawberry blond in color, scant head that fades quickly. The aroma is artificial- the raspberry is no doubt artificial. Flavor is strong raspberry candy with a refreshing lemon finish. Very refreshing, slight buttery finish gives the brew a well rounded feel. Excellent for cleansing the pallete or drinking alone, but wait to introduce it to friends: Some batches lack any raspberry at all.
