This lager is our homage to one of Utah’s favorite traditions – raging houseboat parties on Lake Powell. Crisp and refreshing, it’s perfect for hot days, warm summer night – and groggy mornings.

Bottle thanks to douglas88. Pours darkish gold with a big frothy white head. Bready aroma. Perhaps a bit of noble hop. Near medium body with decent carbonation. Flavor is bready and hallertauish. Finish is mildly bitter. It’s on its way to being a German pilsener, not just a pale lager. Some light fruit developed somewhere, I’ve just noticed.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of straw, light carmel and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, light carmel and a hint of spice with a smooth lightly bitter lingering malty finish.

Not a typical pilsener. It reminds me more of a clean tasting pale ale, not true to style.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a dense, easily-resuscitated white head. The aroma picked up sweet honey and bready notes accented by lemon rind and thick yeasty notes.. smelled a bit on the sweet side. The flavor found sweet bready notes at the core, with dry lemon zest, earthy bitterness, and mild oxidation around.. tacky sweetness on the finish.. just OK. Lighter-bodied with moderate-plus carbonation on the palate.. decent balance, but a little too sweet.. drinkable stuff.

Courtesy of douglas88. Pours clear deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is legary sweet malts and a bit of esters when swirled around. The taste has a bit of hop bite to start to go along with grainy malts and a pretty darn refreshing sensation.

Bottle. Clear light gold pour with a white head. Grassy nose and taste with a bit of hop bitterness. Pretty forgettable.
