I missed this beer when it was in Chubbies but not it has returned in bottle form. Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. A sweet bready nose with honey and light apple. A nice clean flavor of big sweet malts, some light biscuit, a bit of honey and banana, some cloves. Nice.

Big 750mL bottle courtesy of the uber generous douglas88. It pours crystal clear pure gold with thin near white head of foam. The aroma offers up a sweet mix of malts, grainy malts, corn, floral hops and a touch of apple like fruity esters. The taste delivers as sweet malts and corn to grainy notes mix with an adequate level of floral hop bitterness and flavor. Man, I am in the mood for this as it is drinkin’ gooood.

Pours a light golden yellow with a beautiful, fluffy cotton head. There’s a Bready nose of Munich and pilsner malts and a nice herbal hop smack. German malts at first with a herbal/ grassy hoppiness about midway. The finish is very clean and crisp, lightly bittered. Creamy texture and smooth mouth feel, light bodied. Really a great beer, balanced perfectly. An awesome, smooth drinking lager.

This was only available in Chubbies from Squatters, but I had a full glass at GABF
Appearance: Clear golden with a big white head and good lacing
Aroma: Honey and toasted malts
Taste: Light malts, honey and sweet
Nice, easy drinking and clean. Hope they decide to bring this back.

Locals Swap! Gold pour, small white head. Aroma of tootsie roll, dough, toffee, and a bit of chips. Very little bitterness, just enough sweetness to make this one interesting. Earthy hop profile is noticed as it warms. Some peppery alcohol that was in no way distracting in the finish. This reminded me of a very clean 8% malt liquor without the fruity esters. Interesting.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. There is a sulfur aroma that I find off putting. Nice sweet pilsner malt character as well as a fruity bitter hop profile in the beer. Nice and easy drinking.

750mL bottle. Poured crystal-clear, bright golden with a sticky white head. The aroma picked up toasty honey and grainy notes, with fresh grassy and herbal accents.. sweet overall.. solid. The flavor found bread and honey maltage at the core.. lemon zest, hay, and light herbal bitterness around.. finished a touch watery. Medium-bodied with decent balance on the palate.. good bock.
