2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 lb4lb (2050) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAY 8, 2009
Pours clear light yellow with white head. Smell is subtle wheat and very faint spice if at all. Taste is sweet and wheaty with a light belgian yeastiness. Mostly just sweet wheat though. Thin body and soft carbonation. Didn’t do it for me, and this is a bit overrated, I think.

12oz bottle–pours a foamy white head and yellow color. Aroma is musty grain/wheat, pear, coriander. Taste is musty grain/wheat/light malt, sulphur, pear/orange, coriander/spice. OK effervescence. Thanks to Wasatch for trade with Joe-jwc215 and me.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 yemenmocha (658) - Glendale, Arizona, USA - APR 23, 2009
Pours cloudy faint golden color with white head. Nose reminds me of pears, light banana, and other light tropical fruits. Palate is somewhat cracker wheat like, with some pleasant sweet and sour flavors. Finishes somewhat chalky. Overall, impressive considering that it came from Utah.

12oz bottle thanks to douglas88. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a medium white head, that quickly diminishes. Aromas of citrus, wheat, coriander and spice. Flavors the same, sweet wheat, citrus and spice. A quite enjoyable wit. Thanks again Douglas.

Thanks to Santa for sending this my way. It was not the best beer in the box but overall I was pleasantly surprised. More people should give this a try if it is available outside of Utah.
Aroma / Appearance - A huge foamy head took time to condense into a carbonated golden body which reminded me of banana esters, yeast, and candy sugar. Very sweet on the nose it had a hint of spiciness but not enough to offset the other profiles.
Flavor / Palate - Thin with an unexpected sour bite it filled the mouth with watery banana nut bread. A glaze of sugar like a Krispy Kreme donut came next before the moist finish. Overall it was a decent release but since I don’t know what they were intending exactly I am not sure they succeeded.

Brought this back from Utah. Ok beer, not my favorite. Not a strong aroma, yeasty to me. Spices in power the taste. A nice buy.
