Poured a deep, dark brown with a wispy head. No where near the profile of a SN Celebration, so I donít even knwo why they refrence that in the CD.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours deep dark crimson with off white head. Nice aroma of vanilla and hops. Flavor is a nice malt presence with a good bit of hops. Really nice balance. Finish is not so much hops but a spicy malt finish. Nice beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a beautiful dark copper color with a nice brown head. Didnít really appeal to my palate as it was too hoppy. This was my 200th beer Iíve rated and was hoping for a better one. Actually probably rated this one too high for my tastes...

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle; Pour is murky dark amber with a fine bubbled khaki head in this glass that retains fairly well, actually. The nose is far heavier on the hop profile than I would expected. I donít know if they spiced this brew but it has that feeling, along with dark fruits. It is bitter on the tongue - and very heavy on the piney hop notes. The flavor profile is a bit sweet as well, with a lingering spiciness that seems to reveal itself throughout the sampling. I didnít find this one very balanced, I found it thin on the backside - and I felt like the hop profile was too dominant for a "winter" brew.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This brew poured up dark chestnut brown body with a thin foamy head with great retention and lacing effects on the glass. Aromas of toasted malts, toffee, caramel, chocolate, and a hint of hops. Flavors of the same with all being well-balanced and enticing one to savor slowly. Medium-bodied with a nice dry finish with just a touch of hoppy bitterness on the end. Excellent for the wintertime by the roaring fire but definitely one that can be enjoyed anytime of the year!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The beer pours a reddish-brown color with a tan head. The aroma is very malty with some caramel and toffee notes. There is also some dark fruit and quite a bit of alcohol, which is kind of surprising since the beer is only 7 percent. The flavor is hoppier than the aroma. I get some pine and grass notes from the hops and also some toffee and caramel malt. There is also some dark cherry in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. While there is quite a bit going on, the flavors donít really seem to meld all that well together and as a result, the beer falls a bit short.

Pours a dark copper. Great caramel, malty aroma with hints of dried fruit. I love winter brews and this one was no exception.
