Watch City Légèreté Belgian Strong Ale

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a deep amber with thin, off-white head. The aroma is fruity with some malts. The flavor includes some fruity esters and some crystal malt sweetness. The finish is somewhat dry with some spiciness and some residual sweetness. The mouthfeel is crisply carbonated and medium in body. Overall, a surprisingly unmemorable beer - much lighter in flavor and aroma than expected.

Pour is a dark amber, minimal white head leaves no lacing. Aroma has caramel, lemon, banana, and some spices (maybe nutmeg). Flavor is strong on the caramel, some lemon and banana mingle in the middle, ends with some spice. Body is medium, flavors lingering, carbonation minimal.
