2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at Water Street Brewery, Grafton, Wisconsin. Sweet caramel detected in this slightly darker than average amber. Light malts and moderately hopped. This is good, but nothing outstanding. Head died pretty quick and left no indication of it’s previous existence. No lacing or foam floaters. This was alright on tap, but nothing I would buy to bring home. 2.8 out of 5 is a gift. It did go well with the jalapeno pretzels I was eating at the bar.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at Water Street. Pours amber with a yellowish head. Nose shows some faint citrus and caramel. Dusty notes and earth. Not much going on. On tasting, more of the same. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Caramel and bitter. Bland. Probably my least favorite.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
An odd amber. Dark amber color. Earthy, caramel, dark fruit(?). Flavor follows nose. Not alot of character.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
On tap at Water Street Milwaukee. Dark amber in color with a very small white head. Mild straw aroma. Very mildly bitter, mildly sour flavor with hay, straw, caramel - but overall very light in flavor. Inoffensive, but lacking in aromatics and flavor. Not impressed.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample. Rating #40. Dark amber pour with a light beige head. Light aroma, a little sweet caramel and toasted malts. Mild flavor, nothing really stood out, but there were no flaws either, light toast in the finish. (2422)

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at the Delafield location. Pours a clear amber gold with an off- white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has notes of grains and nuts with a buttery backing. Flavor has nuttiness up front with grains and a butter note in the finish.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pretty damn standard, if underachieving. It is really, really nondescript. Malt and hops, hooray.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap sample. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished with fair lacing. Light to moderate hop aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Light to moderate smooth sweet flavor with a light swwet finish of short duration. Worth having once.
