Draft at Water Street. Pours a darker caramel colored, hazy with a sticky white head. Nose is nice. Banana and clove balance is good, light citrus notes, crisp and clean. Wheat noted. On tasting, really solid hefeweizen. The wheat offers a tang and sweetness, drying finish is there as well. Good ester/phenol balance. Damn nice hefe!

Dark cloudy yellow. Wheat, banana in aroma and flavor. Not much complexity. One of the better water street brewery offerings.

On tap at Water Street Milwaukee. Hazy gold with a very small off-white head that is totally diminishing. Banana and clove aroma is weighted a bit towards the spice. Musty flavor, banana is heavy yet punctuated by bright carbonation. Wheat tanginess in the finish. Overall, not a bad hefe, though I think it could be a little less dry.

Sample. Rating #52. Cloudy dark yellow with a small white head. Light aroma, banana and wheat. Nice flavor, more banana and sweet spice. Nice. (2417)

On tap at the Delafield location. Pours a hazy yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of wheat (slightly earthy) up front with backing banana and clove. Flavor has a strong clove note up front with more banana in the finish all backed by a wheat note.

A very very average wheat beer. Decent flavor and aroma, but not much of it.

It is pretty crapy for a bavarian hefeweizen. Watery and they have enough dumbassery to include a lemon.

Tap sample. Pours a hazy yellow hue with an average fizzy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Good wheat and banana aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Average balanced spice flavor with a soft sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.

Apr 21, tap@Water Street, Milwauke. Pours hazy amber orange with a small off white head. Good carbonation. Aroma is bananas, citrus and cereal. Flavor much like aroma. Finishes short fruity and a bit bitter. Decent nice weizen.

Hazy gold. Light esters. Sweet wheat and mild citrus with very little else to back it up. Decent.
