Would you look at that an actual non-shit beer from this brewery and it is one of the best raspberry beers I have had. It is tart and succulent with fresh raspberry all the way through.

Draft at Water Street. Pours a deep and hazy pinkish red with a pink head. Nose is straight raspberries, real and very clean. On tasting, the raspberries come through, light tartness and some sweetness. Crisp and clean. THe hefe works well here as well. Superb fruit beer.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 AWISLguy (668) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 21, 2012
On tap at the downtown brewery. Pours a terrific looking pinkish red-orange, like a very interesting juice blend, with a fine white head. Not a color I have ever seen in a brew. Aroma has raspberries upon raspberries. Some grain and some fresh fruit as well. Taste has pine, tart fruits and bread. Quite earthy and very fruity. There is sweetness, but the tart is the main player. Finishes short and tartly sweet. A surprisingly interesting brew which, despite the tartness, was quite drinkable.

On tap at the Delafield location. Pours a near clear pale grapefruit with a white head that dissipated completely. Aroma is full of raspberries that begin sweet but finish with a bit of tartness and underlying wheat. Flavor is full of raspberries that are mainly tart with a backing light wheat note.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - AUG 14, 2002
Reddish-tinged amber color, smallish head. Great balance, with wheaty/lemony tones not compromised by a strong raspberry intrusion. Cookie/creamy/fruity nose works very well; body is fairly light but not thin; very drinkable, and a really pleasant surprise. Not smoky like most of this pub’s brews.

Murky brown thick looking liquid. Interesting aroma of choclate, raspberries and caramel. Mild sour raspberry flavor mingled with a touch of wheat and malt. Interesting.

I was intrigued by this beer, so I had a sample. Interesting flavor, taste like a La Crosse Raspberry water, but with alcohol. Not bad, but nothing special.

Opaque brown-red color. Malt and raspberries in the aroma. More raspberries in the flavor. Dominated by raspberries overall. However, I like raspberries so it’ll get a decent score from me.

Ruddy red, off white cover. Nice raspberry aroma, not overly sweet, some full bodied maltiness. Taste is raspberry, not very tart, nice malt body underneath supports the fruit.

Tasted 8/15/10. Sampler from the Water Street Brewpub. Mildly hazy with a pink grapefruit juice hue. Brainy off-white head. Sweet and tart raspberry nose. Medium bodied and rather nice. Tart and tangy. Light and crisp. Crisp mild wheaty malts backed up with a very nice berry note. Not too bad!
