COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously brewed at DuBocq (Nov 2013)

Waterloo Tripel is brewed on huge amounts of pilsener malt. Aromatic Saazer and Spalter hops are added, but to no further extent than to give it a bitterness equal to a pilsener which gives more room to the beer’s sweetness. The beer is fermented with Du Bocq’s original yeast strain which is responsible for the delicate, spicy expression. After maturation and filtration the beer has a secondary fermentation in the bottle which causes its slight cloudiness.

33cl flesje van de 8 zaligheden in Maastricht. Alcoholpercentage van 7,5%. Uitgeschonken in Grimbergen glas. Goudkleurig, goede schuimkraag. Beetje zurig, hoestdrankachtig, niet fruitig of heel bitter. Niet mijn favoriete soort Triple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not that much of aroma to be a Tripel. Nice white head on a light caramel body. The taste is sweet and spicy. Medium body, low bitterness. The finish is a little bit light. In the an alright beer but there are better alternatives out there.

Golden Blond, white head. Malts, little grassy, white sugar, citrus hidden in the back, fruity something. Well carbonated, Malts, yeast, pretty much one straight line. Sweet, bitter ending. Below average, can’t convince me.

Drinking from a 33cl bottle. A hoppy aroma, peaches, alcohol. The clear, golden beer has a creamy white head that sticks long time. A full bodied taste, spices, alcohol. Medium to high carbonated.
