COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The aroma of this beer is agreeably gentle and is carried by a discreet bitterness while the balance between the malt and hops relies on fruity accents and a lightly fresh aftertaste.

Pours a clear light gold with a large frothy white head. Smels fruity and sugary with some grassy elements. Tastes of perfume, some citrus, grassy, dry pilsner malt, some funky hints.

Pours a hazy gold color with a nice white creamy head. Aroma of hops and some fruits and a hint of vanilla. Flavors are very floral, hoppy and light, with spices and a hint of vanilla. A slightly bitter ending but with a nice lasting taste. Very nice and very enjoyable.

I was pumped to try this one when I saw it. Pours a hazy yellow with a ton of carbonation. Ive never seen such a fizzy beer in my life. Huge frothy white head. Pretty shitty taste in my opinion. A sour, puke taste. I can’t believe I wasted five bucks for a bottle of this crap. Belgium sucks.

Wombata (184) - Kobe, JAPAN - SEP 10, 2009
Appearance: Light straw color, white head. Aroma: Sweet floral, candy sugar with ripe pear showing as it warms. Flavor: Sweet caramel and candy sugar from start to finish. A touch of spice and a toasted note on the finish. Comment: Bottle states best before 4/10. Not complex but very pleasant caramel and toasty malt flavors. A good "gateway" triple to introduce to newcomers?

Pours a lacing, fizzy, white head with a hazy orange body. Aromas of bubblegum, candi sugar, zest, grass, and yeast. Flavor is about the same as the aroma. Fairly clean finish.

I bought this on sale today for $3.18 but I didn’t notice it was dated best by 01/06/07! Oh, well its Belgian and will probably still be interesting. I poured this extremely slow because there was a shitload of sediment. This beer looks really nice with a two inch white head and a murky dark orange body. The smell is sweet honey, The taste is a slight tinge of licorice twizzlers and fresh bread. Mouthfeel is smooth but dry at the end and the aftertaste really coats my mouth. This beer is decent but unlike the tripels I have had so far but that may be due to the age. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 10-04-2007 16:47:25
