bkurtz (276), Peru Apr 4, 2007 Poured cloudy golden with a big white head and lacing. Spicy aroma (coriander?, citrus) and full bodied. Well balanced with a great finish. Not the best of triples, but still ¨mother´s milk¨. (Rating #944) shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 28, 2007 Watou talkin’ about, Willis? (Sorry.) This is a very nice beer...solid palate, fairly thick and a bit cloudy. Familiar Belgian musty smells, with some esters reminiscent of a wheat ale, mildly sweet malts, a bit of spice and a slightly briny saltiness. A softer version of a tripel, not as bold as some, but very pleasant to drink. gottalottaibu (242), charlotte, North Carolina, USA Mar 27, 2007 hazy yellow/orange with a nice frothy head. fruity sweet aroma of hops and yeast while the taste is much more spicy. ends fairly dry yet still refreshing. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Mar 23, 2007 Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is very yeasty and creamy. Flavor is a little off. Some banana and clove but nothing really stands out. There are some better less famous tripel’s out there. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Mar 16, 2007 Again as time goes on i get more and more into triples though i wish i didnt as they fuck me up. Aroma is fruity as, citrus off the hops tropical fruits off the yeast. Taste has a serious pale malt base covered in yeasty fruityness with a dry dry bitter finish, though perhaps a bit to much bitterness too soo. AskForJenny (627), Ontario, New York, USA Mar 2, 2007 11.2oz - Straw colored liquid under thickivory head. Large bubbles and nice lace with wood on the nose. Wood, smoke and yeast on palate. Out of balance and really unpleasant. Yuck. larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Feb 21, 2007 Big white head; hazy yellow body with carbonation. Citrusy, mealy, yeasty aroma with soft, metallic hop notes. Deep, spicy, wheaty yeast taste, dryish, with citrusy notes. Good, and very drinkable. (0.75l bottle. Thanks to yngwie.)
