Some citrus and honey in the nose and palate. Yeasty but not cloying or too sticky. Balanced and accessible but lacks the verve that would make it a remarkable tripel.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 tenghave (402) - Taastrup, DENMARK - OCT 22, 2007
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 cbeers21 (693) - Miami, Florida, USA - OCT 20, 2007
Pours nice attractive golden color with white, foamy head. Nice yeasty aromas fall off the beer with touches of gentle spice and light hops as well as subtle fruit notes. The flavor is soft and sweet with a flowery fruit presence giving way to a bittering yet gentle hop kick. The beer doesn’t try to do anything too drastic and is a well balnced, tasty brew; however it ends up being rather plain, not really distinguishing itself from others. That being said -not a bad tripel.

Bottle poured into Watou Tripel glass. Poured out a nice copper colour with a medium white head that dissolved. Aroma was malty, bready. Flavour has nice spice and hops.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 WabashMan (924) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - OCT 13, 2007
A nice tripel, if less than extraordinary. A nice light/medium copper color, fairly quickly fading head, and pleasant nose. Fruity flavors somewhat more reminiscent of a dubbel than a tripel, and long lasting. Medium to full mouthfeel.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tomciccateri (681) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - OCT 12, 2007
From a 330ml brown bottle dated 19.07.10. Pours a dense gold color with a slight white head. Light body but full mouthfeel from the carbonation. Slightly sweet pale malt flavor. Subdued estery/fruity characteristics. Late slightly dry finish where alcohol presence becomes evident. High carbonation tends to distract from the character.
