Ingredients: Water, barley malt, sugar, hops, yeast.
The aroma of this beer is agreeably gentle and is carried by a discreet bitterness while the balance between the malt and hops relies on fruity accents and a lightly fresh aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Hazy yellow body, huge white head with good retention. Surprisingly fresh and floral aroma: grass, yeast, green grapes, camomile. Taste of yeast, sugar, herbs, peppercorn, leather. Very well done.

Pours a cloudy blonde with a big thick head, and lots of active carbonation. Nose of hay malts, sharp yeast and a little soap. Nice bready, yeasty malt taste overlaying a sweetness that offers a good balance. Not my favorite tripel but a decent one.

Bottel 33.

Plaisante.

From the 330 ml bottle with an expiration date of 16-07-17. Serving at about 50 degrees. Gorgeous yellow pour with a light funnel of carbonation leading up to the softest, most delicate white head I have seen. 5 out of 5 for the look. Lovely aroma of apple, orange, lemon, Belgian candied sugar, toasted bread, Belgian yeast, and spiciness. 10 out of 10 for the aroma. Pleasant, medium body that is soft like a cushion. The taste brings out the same sweet and toasty malt character, orange and other fruit notes, and spices. No alcohol bite. Delightfully balanced. I cannot believe that I have not rated this one until now.

Just some characteristics and numbers due to heavy board gaming. Nice belgian tripel. Really good noble hoppiness and yeast esters.

[notes 2005]

Bottle. Pours an orange color with white head. Dusty, yeasty, spicy, bread aromas. Yeasty, dusty, bread, malty, slight honey flavors. Tasted back to back with St Bernardus Tripel. Both great examples, killer beers. I probably like the other better but just slightly.

Bottle. Cloudy gold in color with a nice white head that is well maintained by the active carbonation. The aroma and flavor include clove, bread, and fruity citrus. Very nice.
