Ingredients: Water, barley malt, sugar, hops, yeast.
The aroma of this beer is agreeably gentle and is carried by a discreet bitterness while the balance between the malt and hops relies on fruity accents and a lightly fresh aftertaste.

330ml bottle from the LCBO. solid triple. dryer then some american examples. not complex enough to compete for the top in this style. the regular st bernardus triple is better.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2014 I never quite understood the purpose of this tripel, considering this brewery already has the great Sint-Bernardus Tripel in their range... Anyway: beautiful deep ’old’ orange blonde colour, slightly hazy with quiet fizz and tiny bits of yeast here and there; crackling, irregular, off-white head. Fruity-estery and explicitly sweet aroma of mango, vanilla pudding, banana liqueur, red apple, candied oranges, honey, raisins, brown sugar (!), freshly baked cake and dougnuts, pancakes, lavender soap, Grand Marnier, almond, baker’s yeast, whisky. Fruity taste, lots of peach, apple and mango, stung by a sharp, minerally carbonation dancing on the surface of the tongue, then shifting to a bready, honeyish and lightly caramelly malt sweetness as well as a ’brown’ (candi) sugar sweetness, cookie dough, spicy yeasty hints, finishing in drying but just not astringent, brandy-like alcohol and herbal hops, but not nearly bitter enough to balance the sweetness. Now I understand its purpose: this is a tripel for those who have a sweet tooth. Though oversweetened to me and in that respect less balanced than Sint-Bernardus Tripel, this is still an interesting beer, clearly bearing the trademark of the Sint-Bernardus yeast. Still, I would not miss it if it were discontinued - as long as there is Sint-Bernardus Tripel, of course.

Pours slightly cloudy light orange with big foamy head and lots of lacing. Nose is grainy with some dough. Tastes of dough, cereal, grassy bitterness, maybe some light green apple and pears. Taste light sweet medium bitter. Medium body with lots of carbonation and a lasting bitterness to the finish. Nice beer!

330ml bottle from the LCBO. Beautiful foam head over a golden hazy body. Aroma is unique and magnificent: pepper, orange zest, bubble gum and clove. It;s spicy, it’s sessionable, it’s complex, wow. It’s got some witbier qualities and possesses a similar mouth-feel and finish. Extremely well integrated alcohol with minimal perceived bitterness and some hop-based fruitiness.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with a finger of head. Smell of yeast and apple. Nice strong flavor with caramel and dark fruit finish. Good stuff.

Bottle from Tom - thanks! Hazy gold pour with a white head. Yeast and fruit. Maybe getting a touch of chemical but not enough to throw it way off for me.

Golden hazy color, nice stable white foam. Aroma of Belgian yeast, white bread. Taste is well balanced, first sweet but more bitter in the aftertaste, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Nice tripel!

Étonnament raffrichissante pour une triple! Ça se boit vraiment très bien. Il y a des notes de bananes et d’épices. Bonne bière!

Spicy and I guess not too bad but triples like this are not for me. Palata is good, somewhat sweet. Bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis.
