yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 16, 2006 Updated: Jan 1, 2008Bottled. Golden beer with a dense, white head. And some floaties. Yeasty, but neutral aroma with some banana. A little too thin flavor, with fruits, especially banana. Ok, light sparkling mouthfeel. Rating: 4-4-6-3-14-3.1 (060113)
Bottle, 75cl corked. (RBNAG 07)Had to try it again, as it disappointed bit time last time I had it. Golden-yellowish body, mostly clear, with a white head. Pale malt, sweetness, fruityess, some yeast and hops in the aroma. The flavor is malty, sweet and fruity, full body. Much more satisfying than last time. (071103) mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 15, 2006 bottle. pours a hazy bright orange-brown with small yeast specks and a medium white frothy head. the aroma is full of sweet fruit and alcohol - notes of pears, banana, and oranges. mouthfeel is yeasty and lively. flavours of sweet dusty pears and bread. the finish is very spicy and has a warm, comforting alcohol presence. very good. jonsiii (157), Fredericia, Denmark Dec 31, 2005 Bottle 75 cl. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Sweet aroma, sweet taste. Too much alcohol taste and a fizzy carbonation. Above average though. jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 29, 2005 Bottle. Hazy golden body, with a bit white head. (3+) Sweet yeasty aroma, sugary fruit and a tiny whisp of bubblegum. Flavour is dried out by the alcohol more than you would expect from the aroma. Dry bite of hops and alcohol over sweeter less prominent malt. Bit less malty than I would like, but pleasant despite a stronger alcohol presence than is warranted by the actual abv. Medium palate. Thanks for saving me one Harry! pintbypint (1002), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Dec 29, 2005 330ml brown bottle. Poured hazy orange gold, lots of particles floating about. Head is small and thin, but covers the entire surface in tiny tight white bubbles. Light oranges in the aroma, and honey sweetness. Quite a lot of body, creamy mouthfeel, very fine smooth carbonation. Flavour is again honeyish malts, some subdued lemon notes, spicy yeast and a clingy hoppy finish, good dryness. bask (305), Leuven, Belgium Dec 27, 2005 Bottle. Amber gold colour, white medium frothy head, not much lacing. Toffee malts, honey, orange peels and bananas in the aroma. Bitter, salt, spicy and fruity flavour. Spicy, dry finish. claudewfeete (4), England does not count Dec 19, 2005 Clouded light amber in appearanced with a honeyed, fruity bouquet. Mellow taste - lots of spicy overtones combine with fruity hints of banana and pear. A light bitterness cuts through the honeyed perfume on the finish. Light but plenty of interesting things to discover. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA Dec 13, 2005 Orange Glow Coloring with White Frothy Head. Sweet Rich Malt Notes...Dry Ending...Light Spices and Notes of Leather as Well. Very Enjoyable.
