| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 16, 2008 A huge and distressingly long last head is light gold. The beer is a dirty orange. Foam leaves a sticky layered lacing. Pleasant aroma is sweet fruit and yeast. Taste is similar adding some alcohol. Very sweet but no candy sugar. This is delectable and dangerously easy to drink. gam (1092), brisbane, Australia

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden-orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is a bit more spicy than most tripels, but I also got the usual citrus, vanilla, banana, and yeast notes as well. Taste is spicy, with the same as the aroma, detectable citrus, vanilla, banana, and yeast notes. Detectable hops on the back. Pretty much your run-of-the-mill tripel, and not as strong as I’d hoped it would be. heavy (835), Split, Croatia
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Nov 27, 2008 02/11 0.33 l bottle @ Hopdevil, Zagreb. It poured darker orange body with smaller, slightly off white head. A bit winy aroma with some dust, quite weak and nothing special. Flavor was weak in the beginning as well, but with every sip you start to get its subtle components. Well balanced between bitter, sweet and sour, some cookies are maybe the most dominant, but orange, apples, grapes or some variations are obvious as well. Finishing long smooth and pleasantly sweet, you can’t like this beer. Good work on this subtle tripel from St. Bernard! iambeerviking (8), , Greater London, England does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 21, 2008 Poured with what I would call an off-white head, that even 30 minutes late is still hanging around.
Colour wise, I’ve got written down a caramel orange colour.
I got a bit of a malty nose.
Taste, I thought it was fairly smooth, almost light upfront with some of the bitterness of the hops coming in towards the end finishing with quick a clean citrus note. Bontus (301), Waasmunster, Belgium

Pours very hazy blonde with a nice head. Nose is spicy. Palate is very well balanced. Aftertaste is short and dry bitter. Good tripel.
