3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz Bottle: Not a bad experience at all. I’m not usually a tripel fan, but this was quite pleasant. Plenty of sweet fruity undertones follow a slightly dry nit-too-boozy finish. The nose was a bit under-pronounced, but it was poured into a pint glass, so not necessarily the brew’s fault. Included in a 6pk selection featuring mostly St. Bernardus, I thought this really stood out on it’s own for what I had expected to be an unimportant "extra" in the selection.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
11.2oz bottle in a stemless glass. Pours deep golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, pale and caramel malts, hints of light fruit, some herbal/minty notes, and light floral hops. Flavor the same with a nice blend of everything. Average texture. A solid tripel.

En bouche c’est équilibré, amertume légère. Rien d’exceptionnel, mais elle se déguste comme une bonne bière belge. Elle fait le boulot.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Shines canola yellow in the glass with a tight bubbled foam cap that snaps & crackles. This is pulled from the LCBO six pack sampler for us thirsty Canadians & I can tell you how much I’m enjoying this purchase (especially after my last 6 pack sampler of bitters from England that underwhelmed me in so many ways). This brew is champagne like in its crispness, starts off candy shop style but as the pour settles it takes on a more tart aspect. Carbonation is more lively than a crackhead looking for rocks. This is great & I’d love to see what my main man Helsdon -- he who drinks beer with me & marries Belgian women -- says about this.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy golden pour, huge white head. Huge tropical fruit aroma, loads of yeasty esters, with some subtle herbs, and mint. Very lively effervescent mouth feel. Medium bitter finish ,lots of fruit and yeast, with more herbs and a pronounced banana note. Superb tripel.

Part of the St. Bernardus Mixed 6-Pack. The beer pours a hazed honey gold colour with a thick long lasting snow white head. The aroma is yeast, light fruits, grainy malts, yeast, and spices. The mouthfeel is full bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is light fruits, yeast, honey, and grains. Another winner from St. Bernardus.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 mL bottle. Pours hazy honey with a huge cap of ever expanding white head. Very nice lacing. Honey-like malt, pear, banana, candy sugar, orange, mild herbal hop notes, vanilla. Lightly sweet, with a nicely rounded finish, a little bitter. Moderate plus body with heavy carbonation, very creamy texture. A tasty tripel!
