Amber cloudy with rich off-white bit creamy head. Sour with flowerly notes, followed by deep bitter taste. Long bitter aftertaste with some sweet notes.

11.2 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured cloudy, golden with a frothy white head but no real lacing on the glass. Aroma of bread, grain, fruit and yeast. Taste sweet and fruity, some yeast and some booze. Very nice beer, quite enjoyable.

From bottle to snifter I am rewarded with a pale golden pour laden with sediment. I donít mind, why would I? Itís an old style that is bottle conditioned and it certainly does not detract from the character. My favourite aspect of this little number is the strong floral and spicy hop presence. White pepper and coriander collide with indistinct (to me) floral fun and are only driven further by a bumptious bevy of bubbles. Wee notes of grass, not unpleasant, are weighted artfully against a honey-cereal finish, dry as one could hope for. The very sweetest of apple varieties comes to mind for a fleeting but tasty moment.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2015 33cl bottle@home in Trappist glass@approox 8 degrees C. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Aroma of malt, caramel malt, yeast and bread. Medum to high carbonation. Taste grows on me as I drink it. Subdued hops with malt dominating the taste. In the aftertaste, the hop kicks in and gives a very pleasant bitterness. Not extreme, not spectacular, but it just leaves me with the impression of BEER! - this is really how it should taste - showing how well balanced it is! No spices added, not the most spectacular tripel, but a just damn good beer!

Bottle sampled at home from old notes. Pours a hazy golden color with a large white head. The aroma and,flavor have sweet malts, honey, mild citrus, straw, some alcohol shows, easy to drink, just not my favorite style.

Bottle. Typical triple pour, murky honey color with strong frothy head. Beautiful. Fresh but yeasty aroma: grains, soap, young cheese, pepper, touch of vanilla. Reminds of Westmalle. Taste is a very robust, beautifully balanced, traditional Triple. Fresh grains, infused with a touch of dried lemon, vanilla, pepper. Creamy. Reminds of Karmeliet. Aftertaste is sweet, dried apricots. Style-defining quality beer.
