3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy dirty medium amber color, white head cover, curtain of lace. Aroma of malt and cereal. Taste is bracing semi-sweet malt and yeast that has a strong carbonation edge as it moves through the palate, continuing to pure bittering that turns sweeter with fruit and bubblegum as it drifts through the finish. Some alcohol warmth turns up late. Yes, itís a traditional Abbey Ale, but, very well done. Recommended.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Feels very standard Tripel, tho balance makes it enjoyable. Intense maltiness, some toast, bit candy sugar, some dried fruits, bit bubble gum, some hops in background. Bit too overcarbonated for my like.
Moderate to light sweetness, light bitterness. Well balanced and pleasant brew
