4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
330ml bottle into a goblet.
Pours a slightly hazy medium orange with a half finger fluffy white head. Excellent head retention with just a little bit of lacing on the sides of the glass.
There is really a whole lot going on in the aroma. Lots of Belgian spicyness along with some peach and orange. marmalade. Strong notes of caramel candy and lightly toasted bread. More earthy than I was expecting.
The flavor doesn’t seem quite as complex as the aroma but it is still quite enjoyable. Bread mixed with peaches and orange throughout with a lot of banana and clove up front. Hops are nearly non-existent which is appropriate. Some caramel sweetness but it is restrained with a somewhat drying finish bringing up the end. No hint of alcohol whatsoever.
Overall, a really good tripel with quite a bit going on. I really love the number of nuances in the aroma and flavor. This is a really interesting as well as refreshing beer to drink.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden cloudy beer with a firm white head. High carbonation. A good triple with the typical sweetness that you find in most beers in french-speeking Belgium. You really taste the alcohol in this beer. Its troughout the taste. Good triple but to sweet for my taste.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very hazy golden honey color with particles in suspension, a big white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is light with pears, banana, honey and a hint of clove. Taste is more balanced between the light fruit flavors and a black pepper spiciness. Has a touch of the honey and some yeasty biscuit flavors. Finishes dry with some pepper and clove. Prickly mouthfeel with high carbonation and a medium body. A simple but nice tasting tripel that is effervescent and drinkable. Would not turn it away but would choose others over it.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy golden color with a thick head and good lacing. Aroma of fruit, yeast, bit of malt sweetness and spice. The taste is mildly sweet with a blend of fruit, malt, some yeast and a bit of orange peel. Has a subtle bitterness and the finish is quite dry. Body is pretty full, smooth and with plenty of character. Very well balanced. Quite an enjoyable beer that is a good example of the style.
