pintbypint (879), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Dec 29, 2005 330ml brown bottle. Poured hazy orange gold, lots of particles floating about. Head is small and thin, but covers the entire surface in tiny tight white bubbles. Light oranges in the aroma, and honey sweetness. Quite a lot of body, creamy mouthfeel, very fine smooth carbonation. Flavour is again honeyish malts, some subdued lemon notes, spicy yeast and a clingy hoppy finish, good dryness.

Appearance: Pours a bright, clear, golden body with a huge, foamy, white head.
Smell: Aroma smelling of spicy hops, lightly bready malts, orange blossom honey, and cracked black pepper.
Taste: Lightly bready malts sweetened with honey and light caramel sauce. Spicy hops with a medium bitterness. Touch of peach fruitiness. Dash of hop spices. There’s a little ’pop’ of acidity. Odd hint of licorice comes and goes. This is followed by a bit of sourness. And this is followed by some alcohol warmth as you’re led into the sweetish finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Sticky mouthfeel. Medium-high carbonation.
Drinkability: I rather enjoyed it. A very nice tripel, a style, I’ll admit, I can be a bit fussy towards. It’s got the usual tripel traits, but it’s like someone blended in a sweeter, bready Vienna lager into it. There, I had to get that off my chest. And you know what? It felt good. It’s good to be honest. darkguardian (168), Florida, USA Aug 18, 2008 12oz bottle. Smooth nose of citrus and yeast with caramel and vanilla. Pours a deep hazy gold with a a thick foamy head. Flavor is very yeasty with notes of bread, spicy hops and a strong malt backbone. Much better balanced than most tripels, a really tasty brew. jeffwilliams11 (253), hooterville, Michigan, USA Aug 4, 2008 pours hazy gold with lots of floaties, small whith disappearing head. very citric aroma and flavor, with lots of nice maltieness. milldy fizzy, dry finish. blipp (713), Grand Island, New York, USA Jul 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a dense white head. Aroma is fruity, with melon, peach and orange, and also yeast and spice. Medium body. Flavor is nice but a bit lighter than the aroma led me to believe. Fruity and Yeasty. Not bad. Ober (289), Best, Netherlands Jul 28, 2008 A hazy golden colored beer, with a white head. It disappears quickly. The aroma is malty, some yeast and fruity, notes of orange. The taste is a little spicey, very malty and fruits like orange. It has a dry aftertaste, but it’s a good tripel
