The beer is a delight to see. The color is a beautiful dark ruby red. When seen with a good source of light, the beer shows a beautiful peach glow. The beer is quite cloudy. The beer pours a beautiful layer of creamy soft off white foam. The bulk of the foam collapses, but am adequate drape of soft foam remains on top of the beer. The beer has an amazing smell. It is perfect fit the winter. The smell is bittersweet, with more sweetness than bitterness. You can smell the alcohol. The beer also has a very fruity aspect, I mainly smell banana. The smell is very good, so fruity and sweet, but with a hoppy bitterness. The beer tastes incredible. The beer has a rich fruity flavor, there is banana, citrus fruits and coriander, and some almonds. There is a delicious strong alcohol flavor. The beer is a perfect winter beer. It is spicy, warming and very tasteful. Chapeau.

Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer is dark brown colored with a large cream colored head. The aroma is malty and light fruity, also with tones of caramel and some spices. The taste is medium bodied, with maltiness and fruitiness and with a little sourness near the end with some notes of spices. The finish is light dry and with a long staying bitterness. Decent beer, but surely not brilliant.
