Countbeer (4752) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 23, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Big white head. Hazy yellow colored beer. Aromas of wheat, tea herbs, sweat, light vanilla... Flavours of wheat, tea herbs, vanilla, light bitter, some sweet yeast, light banana... Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, low to medium bodied. Boring but not unbalanced!

maekchu (2300) - Hirakata, JAPAN - NOV 25, 2014
Bottle from Sugaya. Banana nose with shots of citrus, light coriander, and what seems very like some added spirits. Hazy light apple juice color, fluffy white head, which diminishes fairly qickly. Medium fruity initial with banana. Bittering kicks in early (maybe too early). Citrus steps up. Citrus zest in finish, mixed with light bitterness. Thin body. Not as sweer as many wit beers. Somewhat tart and lemony, with a slight off flavor in mid palate.

Alengrin (2464) - BELGIUM - NOV 5, 2014
Regional witbier following the Hoegaarden standard, pale yellow blonde colour with somewhat greenish hue, snow white head; bready malts, sourish wheat touch, citrus freshness, some coriander but not too strong, sharpish carbo. Very gentle example of the style and very quenching, but also quite boring.

Bottle 0,25l. Pours a somehow hazy blond with thin white head, quickly diminishing. No lacing. Aroma and taste are mostly about wheat. Same for taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Een typisch witbier genre Hoegaarden waar er zoveel van te vinden zijn in België, niets speciaals

Bottle from Willems. Hazy gold pour with thin white head. Aroma is really spicy, intense fresh coriander, allspice, lemon, doughy yeasty notes. Taste is tart, slightly lemony with a potent spicy finish. Palate is light bodied with med-low carbonation. Overall this beer gives me a dirty, over-yeasty impression with a light malty body that could use a bit more freshness. Drinkable, but that’s about it.

Ordinary Belgian witbier. Wheaty and fresh body, with some fruits and coriander like spices.

Bottle bier huis ossett. Hazy yellow thin white head. Aroma is citrus cloves yeast. Taste is same slight spice decent bitterness. Medium body bit too fizzy for me. Ok wit beer.
