Fruity and sour aroma. Spiced yeasty flavour with coriander and some sourness. A very tasty wit bier.

Fairly standard Belgian wit with a light touch across nose and palate. Glowing cloudy dull orange in colour with citrus fruits on the nose. More light citrus and spice to taste. Ok as a midday drink but won’t aspire to much more. (e1.80 @ Trappist House Gent)

On tap at Bier Circus Brussels. Thin almost to the point of being watery. Lots of citrus and coriander. Not the best wit I’ve had.

Bottle 33 cl Cloudy yellow color, white head. Light beer with with visible yeasty sediment. Typical witbier. And then a surprising hint of hops in the palate. Aroma = citrus and hoppy.

Bottle (330ml). Via trade with Viper666. Hazy pale gold with a large, lasting frothy-bubbly white head, sticky lacing left behind. Sweet malt, banana, lemon, soft sweet spice (coriander and clove), peppery dry hops - decent, but a little thin. The taste is there too - sweet candy malt, fruit, sweet spice, but the finish is quick and mild, a little too bland really. Pretty light bodied, watery flat mouthfeel, nice little bit of fruity linger, and decently made, but too much the retiring wallflower of a beer - give me *some* oomph please.

Big, fluffy, creamy white head; hazy yellow body. Spicy, wheaty aroma with coriander notes. Taste is watery, spicy citrus with faint coriander notes. Aftertaste is spicy grapefruit. It’s very light and drinkable, but still interesting. (0.25l on tap.)

Bottle at Restobières, Brussels. Cloudy yellow with a modest eggwhite-like head. Fruity coriander nose. Dry elegant coriander and fruit flavours. A well-balanced and refreshing wit.
