[on tap in Cincinnati airport] Flat, clear amber. Raisin, dark malts, sweet cherries, port, lifesavers candy = aroma. Raisin, fruity toffee = flavour. Significant bitterness. Medium body, low carbonation and a sweet finish. Almost an altbier.

Light toasted malt nose - really light, amber color, low clingy head. Weak roasted malt body with a sugary sweetness in the middle. Oaky finish, some hop character. Thin and vapid, really, with a quick profile. Not very good.

It was served by a waiter so it had no head. It was much darker and stronger than would expect from an amber. Nice malt flavor and a good hop finish.

Draft at Watson Bros. Brewery. Dark amber hue with a medium white head that diminished quickly. Medium aroma of malt and caramel. Medium body with creamy texture. Well balanced flavor of malt and caramel with small bite at finish.

Draft in sampler set in Blue Ash. Poured a dark brown with a medium rocky off-white head. Aroma and flavor was a small malt with short sweet finish. Below average for style.
