Mętne, złote piwo o obfitej pianie zdobiącej szkło i utrzymującej się do końca. Aromat i smak słodowy z nutą chmielową, Goryczka średnia. Ogólnie dobry typowy niemiecki pils.

From tap at Watzke Brauereiausschank am Goldenen Reiter. The beer is hazy (unfiltered), yellow with long lasting white head. The aroma is just fantastic! Malty, bready notes and hops with lemon grass accents. In flavour same with very good medium level bitterness. Very blanced, very drinkable, great pilsener!

Tap at the Brauhaus. Oh boy, was that one tasty! Bready aroma with just a dash of yeast and plenty of that German trademark lemony-grassy hoppiness. That is the best aroma you can get from old type German noble hops. The flavour follows the same pattern, with some residual sugars adding a subtle honeyish note to the perfectly balanced taste. Man, is this drinkable. This is one of those moments when you think why on Earth you need all those fancy hops, funky yeast and barrel aged snobbish stuff when all that’s great has already been invented. In the case of this pilsner, beauty lies in simplicity and harmony.

On tap at the brewpub. Looks good in the glass, fine turbid. Starts mild but not washy. Wonderful flowery-hoppy. Modest dry background. Finish hoppy and mild bitter. Quite drinkable. Nice!
