Drank from a bottle at the 20th Mondial de la Bière, June 1, 2013. Black, little head. Aroma of chocolate malt, fruity cereal. Taste of roasted malt, fruity barley, good coffee bitterness. Very solid porter!

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 355ml bottle served in a tulip glass. Enjoyed @ Mr. Beer (Vitória - ES), a nice beershop chain. A: interesting bottle art. Modern label printed in the bottle. The beer pours a deep brown to black color forming a nice creamy tan head. Medium retention and some lacings left in the glass S: Roasted malts, dark chocolate, notes of coffee. A bit milky. Yeasts T: Slightly sweet upfront. Toffee. Roasted malts, yeasts, chocolate malts. Notes of coffee. Creamy texture. A bit milky in the very end. Dry overall. Medium roast bitterness. Classic English Porter M: Medium but creamy smooth body. Medium carbonation. Roasted bitter aftertaste O: Very easy drinking Porter. Good surprise. Recommended [ BA Review @ 8/17/2012 ]

Bottle. Inky black with creamy beige head, coffee aroma, low carbonation, coffee taste tinged with cherries, thin body, abrupt finish. Not too remarkable.

25cl bottle @ the 7th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Aug 14, thanks to Skids. Don’t think any of us found it particularly creamy for a cream porter. Pours very dark brown with off-white head. Sharp, woody notes with a strange malt character. Not tickling many tastebuds this.

The third and final bottle from this brewery at the August Shrewsbury beer swap meeting: cheers Gareth for going to the World Cup and thinking of us while there. Not too sure why the word ’Cream’ is in the name because I found this dark beer with a ruby hue to be watery and fairly harsh at the same time and certainly not ’creamy’. There was a slight woody, nutty feel to both the aromas and taste but this did not float my boat: sorry Gareth.

Birra discreta che scorre piacevole senza dimostrarsi eccezionale: gusto dominato da note caffettose e caramellate, con un tocco di cioccolato appena accennato.

Bottled 310ml. -from Mercado de Ponta Negra, Natal. Almost black coloured, medium sized creamy brownish head, chocolate and touch of metal in the nose. Light roasted malt, milk chocolate and some licorice with notes of caramel and grain. Touch of alcohol in the finish. Not so bad but really nothing special here.

This one doesn’t smell very good but it looks nice. A bit more roasty than sweet. It’s not that tasty. The worst I’ve had from WAy.

12 ounce bottle purchased at Mercado de Ponta Negra. The aroma is quite tinny and metallic. Light roasted notes. Not so good. Rather transparent mahogany body with a medium, fairly strong, khaki colored head present. Starts with a weird, almost astringent burnt ashiness. Tastes like the overcooked the black patent malts on this. After this, it has a little nuttiness and is mostly watery. Not so great.
