3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
In short: A sweet blonde IPA that is also fruity-refreshing. Good.
How: From a bottle at Montreal Mondial 2013.
The look: Cloudy dark-orange body topped by a persistent small white head.
In long: Nose is like a freshly baked loaf of bread completely soaked in fresh fruit juice (all existing fruits, not just citrus and tropical fruits). Taste surprises by its sweetness. Caramelized apples, sweet breakfast fruits jam, sugary bananas, other fruit-related sweet flavors. Bready and yeasty. Some dry-grassy and floral notes but the hopping is mostly on the fruity side. The refreshing character of the hop profile makes this excessively sweet IPA surprisingly drinkable. I liked this beer. Another good beer at the Mondial beer festival, another festival that keeps getting bigger and bigger, and if we keep consuming craftbeers at the present rate, craftbeers will be extinct by the year 2018, it’s just science people.

Amber color with a tall white head. Aroma is floral hops, citrusy, and sweet notes. Flavor is like aroma but more hops notes. Medium carbonation and body, awesome long dry hoppy finish.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2013-05-30. Hazy orange Body small off white head. 3+ Aroma is moderate, fruity, bit of orange. Mild caramel notes. Flavour is fruity, sweet muddled orange, caramel malt, bit of oxidation maybe? Lingering moderate bitterness. Medium bodied palate, low carbonation. 3+ I suspect it may not have travelled well but also that it may not have been amazing to start with. Bottle at Mondial de la Biere 2013, Montreal

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours an amber colour with a tall frothy white head. Aroma is fruity and citrusy, caramel and notes of biscuit and floral hops. Taste is also fruity and citrusy with caramel and biscuit leading to a fruity and strong bitter finish of cascade, citra and amarillo hops. Pretty damn good; by far Way’s best.
