Pours a dense dark black with a khaki colored ring of foam around the edge of the glass. I get a bunch of charcoal and earthy dark chocolate. Very sweet with a thick mouthfeel.

A nice above average stout. The scent is primarily roasted malts. The Anastasia has coffee and cocco notes that show up more as the beverage warms. The flavor is mainly roasted malts. This drink is mildly bitter. Overall this is a nice drink to relax with and it wont hurt the palate. Congrats Weasel Boy on gold it’s well deserving.

Draft at GABF. Pours a deep brown, verging on black with a brown head. coats the glass. Nose is quite fruity, restrained roast in this one. Moderate vanilla and molasses aromatics as well. On tasting, the sweetness is there, but held in check. Nice roast level, cocoa and prunes as well. More on the fruity side. Really a quite nice RIS.

On tap at GABF. Pours a pure black color with a medium tan head. The aroma is dark fruits, cocoa, a bit of vanilla and roast. The flavor is a solid Impy: a rich mix of roast, vanilla, plum, cocoa. Very sweet, quite nice.
