black, light body, thin feel, average carbonation. When cold there was an off taste that I couldn’t identify. After warming up, it disappeared.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Capa (1905) - Manama, BAHRAIN - JAN 30, 2012
Pour is dark with a nice looking, two-finger thick head. Aroma of roasted malts, light cocoa, fleeting molasses. Medium, creamy body. Flavor is quite enjoyable and very much a standard porter. Roasty malts, chocolate, light molasses. Very nice. (Growler from the brewery)

aroma is mingled roast and near lager level wetness malt character. flavor is lush cocoa and late hit of some dark fruit sweetness. still another flavor component i cannot seem to put my finger on. silky mouthfeel with opaque body and soft styrofoam head. i found that the hybrid wheat grain bill contributed most to an interesting aroma but little to the body or palate.

On tap at the brewpub. Darkest brown pour with a medium tan head. Roasty aroma with a bit of chocolate. Roasty flavor with some chocolate and coffee. Finish is a little thinner than I would like, but I like how this beer retains roasty porter characteristics along with drinkability.

Sampled at Brew Week in Athens. Dark and clear, with thin head. Smooth, with notes of coffee. Very pleasing for a weird named beer.

July 17-19, 2008: Weasel Boy Blackfooted Wheat Porter is black in color with a small, off-white head. There is vanilla in the the nose and butter along with some soft roasty qualities in the flavor. There is also a smooth wheatiness throughout. This beer has a medium body and decent mouth feel, but seems a bit thin. It’s just okay overall.
Draught sample in Athens, Ohio during Ohio Brew Week 2008. Rating #5 for this beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a white ring. Sharp aroma, of burnt malt and sugar. Taste of toasted malt, chocolate, coffee, and wood. Lingering burnt flavors. Nice porter.
