Copper in color with a strong hop presence, which bounces around the mouth like a ferret happy to see its owner. The hop flavor and bitterness continue on through the finish while the malt presence supplies nice balance. A moderately strong medium bodied ale.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a bright orange color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy, buttery and had a vague fruity hop element. The flavor was dryish and bitter with vague fruity and piney hops followed by a medicinal presence and a bit of catbox with a hint of butter underneath it all. Medium length finish. Medium body and smooth. Not good.

on tap @ Weasel Boy / Zanesville OH --- Hazy medium orange amber, white head, curtain of lace. Taste is malt that quickly yields to strong grapefruit hops. Once the hops are in, everything else is out. A big IPA, hop-dominated, but it works on terms that would please a hop-head.

Tap at Cantina Nueva. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, and resin hops, biscuit and toast malt and pear esters. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, supporting crisp malt, light fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Poured on draft at the source. Pours a darker gold with some haze to it and a white head of foam. The aroma has some floral and herbal notes to it, but itís really the malt profile that comes through strong, here. The taste is more sweet than bitter. If a person was just getting into IPAs and the like, this would be a good introductory beer.

On draft pours a hazy golden amber with a thin of white head. Aroma is hoppy real earthy tones and sweet caramel malt. Flavor is nicely bitter and just like aroma would suggest a nice balance between sweet malt and bitter hop the hops are bright and American Iím guessing. Overall it is a nicely done ipa with good balance and nice hop notes and good mouthfeel and alcohol for style.

12oz draft at the brewpub. Poured a good looking orange color with a nice white head. Aroma was citrus hops, with some nice floral and earthy notes, along with a pretty decent amount of malt balance to it. This is a bit bitter on the palate, but the citrus is mostly in the aroma. Pretty darn enjoyable.

On tap, at casa nueva in Athens, OH. Nice, thin foamy off-white head. Good, half-hazy orange-amber color. Good lace. Great, crisp lighter carbonation, smooth texture. Sticky strong aftertaste. Nice, fruity hop aroma. Pineapple and grapefruit. Good bitter taste, with some sweet, a hint of sour. Medium body. Great fresh-tasting IPA. Huge flavor for the ABV, it could pass for a double.

Growler. Pour is nice and copper orange with a white head. Aroma is full of grassy hops, citrus, light floral, and a decent portion of malt. Medium, well-carbonated body. Flavor has mostly grapefruit and grassy hops going on with residual sweetness from the caramel malts. Quite enjoyable.
