acrdz (3891), Pennsylvania, USA Mar 23, 2008 Growler shared by Schroppfy. Light cloudy amber yellow colored body with a white head. Very nice yeast-heavy nose with abundant crisp and sharp, grassy hops. Sharp, tangy, crisp, well made, very refreshing, drying at times, with a nicely crisp cracker pils malt base... very good stuff. argo0 (5867), Washington DC, USA Mar 21, 2008 (growler, thanks Schroppfy) Small off-white head atop lightly hazed apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, foral/orange. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/floral, some orange. Light-medium body, some crispness, chalk. kmweaver (1567), Takoma Park, Maryland, USA Mar 21, 2008 Growler, courtesy of Schroppfy. Thanks, Michael! Pours a hazy, slightly oranged yellow color; off-white head with patchy, fine-bubbled lacing. Solid amounts of floral and mineral bitterness in the aroma; dry, crisp and pleasant. Medium mouthfeel: loads of dry mineral and floral bitterness; a slightly chewy sugar and bready core; very nicely balanced, drinkable Pilsener with just a touch too much remaining sweetness at the core. Still, tasty stuff. Medium finish, showing lots of breadiness and minerals and bitterness. ryan (1600), Beltsville, Maryland, USA Mar 21, 2008 Growler, courtesy of Schroppfy. Cloudy golden body with a small white head. Grassy, lemon and bready nose with light herbs. The flavor is very lightly sweet with light to moderate bitterness with flowers and herbs, grass, lemon, dough, hay and a dusty yeast. Medium body is round with moderate carbonation. Finish is fairly long and bitter. Nice hoppy pils. Schroppfy (1710), Ohio, USA Mar 21, 2008 Honey and saltine (unsalted). Unfiltered pils. Spicy, flowery hop character. A little watery hole in the middle, but nicely hopped. Hop and biscuity malt all intermingly. DC is all up in your asses! Know that!
