Cask conditioned handpump Wig & Pen Northampton 26/03/13. A golden beer with a whitish head and lace. Gluey throughout. Lemony hop hinted at but sticky glue notes totally spoil this. Off.10

Cask, The Coach and Horses, Weatheroak Hill (brewed out back). Orange amber with a thinning white collar. Lovely leafy lime and orange marmalade aroma. Earthy, pithy hop freshness, but some lurking heady fruit in there. Still mellow, floral and soapy with citrus. Amarillo? Definitely a hint of Oakham hop goodness here. Bit headless, but a nicely hopped bitter/golden ale.

Cask (handpump) @ Coach & Horses Inn, B48, Weatheroak. Clear light amber color with a small virtually none, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, light hoppy flowers, fruity, some toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Hand pulled at the Coach and Horses, Alvechurch. Light coloured with no head and spaced-out lacing. Faint vinegary aroma. Well balanced and easy drinking. Strong malt presence, getting bigger in the finish. Some hops to start - bitterish to begin with. Good stuff.
