3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the Coach and Horses, Weatheroak Hill, Alvechurch. Poured a clear golden brown with a broken tan head and broken lace. The aroma is of toffee and malt and just a touch fruity. The flavour is medium bitter, with malt and hints of caramel and spice on the palate. A really superb session bitter packed with flavour. One of the best traditional English bitters I’ve tasted.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’10. Gold with white head. Solid malty, fruity bitter, nothing spectacular, just easily drinkable. Apricot note with a slight perfume. Pretty steady.
