[Cask at GBBF 2005] An orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and so is the flavor. OK.

Golden blonde beer. Like the hops on this, but needs a bit more malt and structure to give it a better balance.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 imdownthepub (8547) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2006
Cask conditioned at The Cape of Good Hope, Warwick. Pale gold with short lasting head. Not the best looking beer, but this one is about taste. There is a pale malty base, not much more than a carrier for the big hop flavour delivered with panache I should say. Herby is true, this has a touch of sage and parsley then an enormous bitterness, in fact this is very bitter on a long finish. Good stuff.

Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF 2005. A copper coloured beer with some reasonable citric hop on the nose. The taste is nicely lemony hoppy and it has a resonable body. Not as fresh as I like losing it marks.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 chriso (7254) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2005
Cask (handpump), GBBF, August 2005 (Day 2). Mid gold colour. The emphasis is, as the name suggests, firmly on the hops (although the commercial description, oddly, describes it as malty, which I did not find to be the case). Very grassy and herbaceous on the nose. Lots of citrus on the palate. Dry and fairly bitter, building in the lingering aftertaste. Well made.
