ElDesmadre (1361) - Mikołów, POLAND - DEC 9, 2013
Draught at the brewpub. This one hat cat piss/blackcurrant all over it, so the smell was far from pleasant. Pleasant was the surprisingly good taste. Bready, worty, lemony-hoppy, floral-hoppy, yeasty. A bit more full than the German standard pils, also less bitter. Good one. Get rid of that cat piss and it will be even better.

Draught at the brauhaus
Cloudy pale blond color with medium sized head. Nice aroma, green, grassy. Lowly carbonated, with nice malt, hay, cereals flavor, sweetish also because the bitterness is low; good grassy hop character.
It misses having a bite, but it’s very fresh and quite good.

ThirstyBird (1193) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JUN 23, 2013
Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a large off-white head. The smell is mild malt, wort, yeast, mild citrus. The taste is again the wort, grain, some slightly tart fruitiness and it ends dry and a bit crisp. Mild carbonation and light body.

The head is ok, the body blond-grey-cloudy. It smells yeasty, tannins, herb-tannins. Taste is mild, tannins, yeasty, a bit refreshing. Ok. 10/8/8/8/-/8

Hell getreidiger Antrunk mit geringer Süße und dumpfem Hopfen. Der Hopfen wird dann angenehm, bleibt aber dumpf. Bittere Grasnoten. Nett. 11/9/10/9//9

MoritzF (8250) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 16, 2006
(draught at the brewpub on a beer-tour with DerDoppelbock) Hazy, pale golden coloured hue with a mid-sized, stable yellowish foam. Moderately sweet malty, slightly dusty and worty aroma with a herbal hoppy background. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; initially malty, slightly yeasty and worty taste with herbal notes; medium-dry, malty and light-bitter yeasty finish. Rather bland brewpub brew, not worth a re-try (03.10.06).

Nate (3553) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 7, 2004
A light lemon hoppy aroma, with a bit of cheese for some reason. No malt aroma. Medium frothy white lacing head sat atop a hazy light yellow (unfiltered) liquid. A light medium body, watery, with light to medium carbonation and mild astringent finish. Taste was light sweet and bitter with decent acidity to start. Finish was mildly to medium bitter, and the aftertaste - though not too long-lived, was pleasantly bitter. An OK pils. One of the few unfiltered pils I've tried.
