Tap at Wedge- Nice overall- seemed restrained- I thought it was going to be too fruity or too phenolic, not so. Pours a nice light amber with a thin head. Aroma is nice- biscuit and toasty malts, light honey- very light restrained fruitiness- pear and light raisin, yeasty and doughy but nice. Flavor is yeasty, restrained phenolics- light leather hints, toast, biscuity, light caramel very light fruits, and relatively clean- easy to drink too.

OK, I rarely say anything is too hoppy, but this wasn’t really like an abbey ale. Reddish copper, with a thin ring of foam Smell sweet and amlty, but the flavor is more like, I dunno, a standard brown ale with some Belgian yeast or something. Tasty, but kind of odd...

Pours a dark hazy orange with great tan head. Aroma is sweet, and even some bubblegum. Flavor is a little spicy and yeasty. Velvety body. Not bad at all, I was actually rather impressed with this one.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy ruby-brown with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt and light roast. Flavor again of sweet malt and sweet fruits. Only a hint of spices. Pretty chill beer, on the sweet side though. 7/4/7/4/14 [3.6/5]
