POurs out a clear gold under a smallish, white head. Fruity aroma with hints of light toffee. Medium body, lightly carbonated, slightly sticky. Starts with a honey like sweetness that transitions into a softly bitter finish, but the sweetness tends to linger.

Tap @ Wedge Brewing Co. Cloudy, deep golden. Strong! Straw flavor. Crisp grassy hop. Heavy bodied. Dry crisp malt. Very strong! Very herbal hop character. A touch of straw, rich syrupy pils malts. Very bold. Lots of herbal hop characteristics. Overall, it is like an Imperial Pils with Belgian yeast. <27 Oct 09>

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2009 This deserves so much better that a "72" percentile and 3.27 score. This is superlative, spot on for the style, and highly commendable coming from a Western North Carolina brew pub brewery! So good.

Pours orange with thick off white head. Aroma doughy, old bread. Taste is bland with yeast and corn. Lots of malt. Maybe this one is past it’s prime. Not good, drain pour.
