Draft at source..golden copper hue, nice 2 finger head, nose is the star of the show here with a solid dank hop presence..however too much malt for my tastes, not a big fan of this

Great brewery. Had this both in can and at brewery. Red hazy pour. Great mouth feel. Nose of hops malt and mild wood. Taste much the same well balanced and love the message on the bottom of the can!

Sampled on tap at the brewery (5/22/15). Moderate hop aroma, herbal, grassy, and light sweetness. Medium golden-dark amber clear with some haze. Thin lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Nice English style IPA, moderately hopped with biscuit sweetness. Grassy finish and moderate bitter after.

Pours clear golden ambe with a fairly thick eggshell head. Aroma is not strong, but quite hoppy and woody. Flavor is intensely hoppy and evergreen with malty and subtle fruity undertones. Firm, fizzy body leaves a strongly hoppy finish. Get on this rail!

Draft. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate complex hop aroma. Medium body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet hop flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a change of pace solid beer.

Hazy copper color. Minimal head. Resinous, slightly sweet hop aroma. Great balance. Bitterness is present but not overwhelming. Well made.

Tasted on 7/28/12 on draft at the brewpub with Erika. Pours hazy dark orange with a thick white head that leaves average lace. The nose is spiced, caramelized orange peel, pine resin, and some caramel malt, with the earthy yeast aroma coming through nicely. The flavor is a nice balance of all of the above, a bit maltier than I expected with some bread. The body is medium with just below average carbonation and a long spiced orange peel bitter hops finish.

Location: Draft at The Admiral in Asheville, 1/2/15

Aroma: The aroma is pine hops, floral notes, some light fruit, and a little caramel.
Appearance: A slightly cloudy orange color, with a white head, and some medium lace.
Flavor: The taste leans bitter, with a lightly sweet balancing flavor as well.
Palate: It is medium-plus bodied, with average carbonation, and a dry finish.
Overall Impression: This one actually kind of grew on me. At first taste I probably would have had it lower in the 3 range, but after a pint I settled here.
