Tap @ Wedge Brewing on Movie Night. Clear bright golden color. Aroma of pale malts, solid hops, a nice touch of bread. First sip, WOW. This is a mouthful! Explosion of hops. Every characteristic of a Pilsener is amplified in the glass. Huge hops bite, bold malt body, a touch of fruit. A simple Lager is a meal in a glass. Huge. Very well balanced, very filling, full flavored, medium bodied. Finishes with a grassy, peppery hop bite. Wow.

Appearance: Faintly hazed, pale straw-hued body with a light, tight, white head. Smell: A nose of German pilsner malt along with notes hinting of spice, zesty dried herbs, and even lemon. Taste: Sturdy base of pils malt, slightly tangy, lightly sweet and with a small hint of firm graininess. Floral, spicy herbaceousness and a touch of dry lemon from the Noble hops. Modestly bitter. Finishes dry and crisp with a light, lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-plus carbonation. Drinkability: A simple, though nicely constructed and well-balanced pilsner from Wedge.

On tap at the brewery. Clear straw color with a small but lasting white head. Grass, hay, and pilsner malt evident on the aroma. Subtle but nice. The flavor has a crisp malt base and noble hops adding a medium bitterness level and some floral and grassy flavors. Great despite its simplicity. Medium-light bodied, crisp, and well carbonated. Some breweries make their pilsner an afterthought. Wedge does not. This is a legit and drinkable brew.

On tap at the source. Brewer indicated that this brew in decoction mashed. Poured pale golden and clear with some white head. Sweet pils malt aroma with an evident amount of sweet floral and very light spicy hop profile. medium body and really nice. full bodied sweet pils that seems like a bohemian variety to me. full malt flavor and medium bitterness. super tasty.

Half pour with pizza. Pretty decent Pilsner- about what I would expect from Wegde. Good for style, but nothing amazing. Pours straw yellow and drinks crisp and clean. Nice sunny afternoon brew. Straw and malt dominate upfront- but decently hoppy at the end. Slightlyl floral. Good.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a slighty hazy golden color with a medium sized white creamy head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grass, cereal grains... almost husky... sweet finish. The taste is grass, green apple and a sweet grainy finish. Well balanced and refreshing. Medium bodied.

Yellow, with a huge white head. Grainy, grassy, floral aroma. Clean and fresh flavor, with a soapy note (in a good way). Clean, crisp finish. Pretty good.
