COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A unique version of the classic farmhouse ale. Whole Liberty hops are used to dry hop this beer. Citrus, earthy and complex, with a dry finish. A Wedge tribute to the art of Belgian brewing.

7/18/11 Saison... Orange w/an ow head.clear. A funky bretty goodness, orval! White pepper, caranel, slate, orange, soapy florals, wood, F=A quite bretty and very dry but there is a malty balance. Noble skunky hops, peppery, oniony Med/fuller body. Malty but very dry, crisp and spicy Domestic orval! Really nice!4.2+

Pours orange from tap with a thin white head. Big citrus and floral notes on the nose. Hop flavor on the tongue and finishes with some spiciness. Very nice!

Draft @ Hickory Hops 2011, Hickory, NC. Pours a hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a spicy malty yeasty finish with hints of citrus in the aftertaste.

Pours orange gold. Candied tropical fruits-pineapple, guava, mango. Palate is medium-bodied, with more tropical fruit, frsh herbs and light spice. Not your typical banana/tangerine farmhouse flavors, this beer is really different & fun. Farmhouse/saison is my favorite syle & this is the most interesting one I’ve had in awhile.

On tap at Wedge. Aroma of overripe apples, peat moss. Pretty copper color. Fresh malt, tasty yeast flavors, oak notes as well Dry feel sort of like a white wine. Finished well. Outstanding.

Draft at brewer. Amber pour with almost no head. Scent is sweet with a musty note. Taste is honey sweet with a tart finish.
