COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A unique version of the classic farmhouse ale. Whole Liberty hops are used to dry hop this beer. Citrus, earthy and complex, with a dry finish. A Wedge tribute to the art of Belgian brewing.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for sharing this at Peter’s NY gathering - I love me some saison, but this one is underwhelming - nose of summery spices and tropical fruits - semi-tart citrus character up front, followed by a honey sweetness that is far too strong - finishes with bitter herbs and another attack of citric/acidic tartness - meh.

Bottle: Nothing super here. Pours golden with a wispy white head. Sweet doughy aroma- notes of honey and some vague bread crust. Sweet flavor. Not nearly dry enough for the style. Honey/herbal notes with a touch of chamomile. Not much depth. Forgettable.

SpringsLicker’s Fish Fry. Sample from a bottle thanks to Suttree. Just barely hazy orange with a slow white foam. Aroma of oranges, nice sweet malts, awesome aroma. Taste is grassy, zesty, citrus, but a bit syrupy and the alcohol shows through.
