(1L bottle) Pours a pale yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of mango, pineapple, floral, canned pear, grass, dust, and mustiness. Flavor of pear, mango, pepper, grass, and clove.

Draft @ Hickory Hops 2011, Hickory, NC. Pours a hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a spicy malty yeasty finish with hints of citrus in the aftertaste.

(PPSG09, 1L bottle) Hazy straw body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, straw, some perfume, lemon, light cream. Taste is moderately sweet, spicy yeast, some cream, light lemon, herb/straw. Medium body, fairly smooth.

Bottle at PPRBSG09. Amber pour with a thin head. Very light apricot and peach nose. Light spiciness and a touch of grapefruit as well. There is a bit of banana on the top as well. Quite sweet which is always a turn-off for these types of beers.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small white head over a hazed golden body. Aroma is grassy and citrus hops. A bit bready. Taste is hoppy and grainy with some honey. Water like mouthfeel with extremely lively carbonation.

PPRBSG09. Shared by Eugene i believe, thanks for the hug. Pours a golden body with a white head. Dry earth y bread y notes with a subdued citrus and spiciness. Spruce and more earth y tones. not bad.

Another DLD sample. Amber pour. Light head. Honey notes and a lack of funky lead me away from the saison style. But the flavor is nice. It is a bit funky, but with more syrup and honey notes. There is a tartness in the beer. But more sweetness than anything. Not bad.
