3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
better than I would expect for a witbier- not my favourite style by far. pours a light orange color- not the yellowish I would expect from this style. taste is more involved as well- definite spicy notes and citrus-refreshing. was going to try a "sip" and pretty much finished the pint. that pretty much says it all for a witbier.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line:
Coriander and orange peel ride this Witbier proudly.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the hazy pale blond.
-This brew leans on spices a bit too much for my tastes.
-Mild herbal hop bitterness works well with the coriander.
-Mouthfeel is lean and drinkable.
-These guys can do Belgian styles quite well even though they are an American brewpub serving from the tap only.
On tap at the brewery taproom.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A hazed pale blonde wit with a thin white head. In aroma, nice classic fruity malt with light cloves, banana, eugenol, pleasant. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with banana, cloves, esters, nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the Wedge, Asheville, NC.
Hazy yellow colour with a tiny white head.
Strong coriander aroma with some wheat, mild yeast and mild fruitiness. Great. The flavour is mild fruity hops, spices, coriander, wheat and mild yeast. Very refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aromas of wheat and citrus float up from a unfiltered straw hued pour. The taste is wheat, orange citrus and notes of Belgian yeast. Medium light body and moderate carbonation. An enjoyable "midday" beer consumed at the brewery.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draught at the brewery, this wit pours hazy orange-straw into the glass with a light wispy head that reduces to trace lacing. The nose has orange, berry fruit and fruit skins. Flavors show clove and coriander amongst light citrus and berries. A zest and peel finish ensues. Light body and subtle carbonation makes for a great thirst quencher in the summer. Nice.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft in a flight at the brewpub. Poured a slightly cloudy golden color. I found it a tad sweet, but it is a Belgian style and the sweetness was muted for what I expected.

Very mild witbier. Like a weak blue moon. Very easy drinking but not much flavor.

on tap at the wedge. cloudy yellow color with minimal head. orange overtones and light. the flavors of mild spice and orange on a hot day make this a deal at $3.50/pint one of my go to beers there love it. decent example of a wit without the strong of the spice.
