Golden color with a great big white head that vanishes quickly. Not much for aroma very lite. Easy hot day drinker that does not stay on palate at all. A little bitter and a touch sour with a clean almost wheaty finsh.

On draft at the weeping radish restaurant and pub in Grandy, NC. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Bready and grassy motes in the nose and flavor. Ok beer.

I thought this was a heavy and bready beer with a lemon flavor that pushed it over the edge for me.

On tap in a nice restaurant on the Outer Banks. Perfectly paired with spicy seafood pasta. This place has Chimay on tap so you know they’re discerning. Fuller palate than most lagers. Lemon grass, caramel.

THOUGHTS: The most bready beer I’ve ever tried. I’m not much of a lager drinker, so that might be part of why I haven’t had many other bready beer. One of the best light-colored lagers I’ve ever tried. TECHNICAL: My bottle said it was 5% ABV. Bottle. Poured a clear, medium to dark, golden yellow with a small, frothy, ever so slightly off-white, head that pretty much fully diminished and left virtually no lacing. The aroma had moderate to heavy light bread, cookie and something like cookie dough; some lemon citrus hops; butter cookies and buttered toast. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and slightly bitter; while the finish was fairly sweet and moderately bitter; There was bread, cookies, yeast and lemon grass like hops. The medium body was slightly syrupy and then pretty dry with very fizzy carbonation and a dry and slightly astringent finish.
