2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Red-amber. Malty, soft & balanced. Well made, but not the most complex of festbiers.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
There really isnít much remarkable here. Itís, well...an amber lager. Slight malt. Slight hops. Slight flavor. Inoffensive, for what itís worth.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This is not a very good lager...at all. Seemed way too dry and flavorless.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I give up, this beer needs alot of work, but with that work it could be good. It is way too soft and yeasty. Very boring, and slightly watery. For not being offensive I give it an average mark.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear amber with a yeasty aroma and watery, yeasty flavor. Soft bitter finish and subtle spiciness can not bring any life to this. Not terrible, just terribly boring.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Just an average beer. Not much of anything, just a slight bitter taste.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Definitely not a festbier. It looked
like one, but it was quite bitter and had
not malty side, no toffee toastiness either.
I had this side by side with their helles
and the difference is negligable - both are
dominated by bitterness with no hop flavor
and lacking malt body.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I was fairly impressed with this beer in that I got more than I expected. As the name implies, it is amber in color with a slight malt aroma. The hop aroma is even more slight. Decent malt flavor, but lacking in mouthfell. Only slight bitterness, which I would expect. This doesnít approach the complexity of a good marzen, but not bad. I should add a caveat - I donít general like lighter lagers at all.
