On draft at the brewery restaurant. Pours clear amber with a white head. Sweet malt backbone. Not much else.

Definitely not a festbier. It looked
like one, but it was quite bitter and had
not malty side, no toffee toastiness either.
I had this side by side with their helles
and the difference is negligable - both are
dominated by bitterness with no hop flavor
and lacking malt body.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 fishman (350) - Philadelphia, USA - SEP 7, 2001
I give up, this beer needs alot of work, but with that work it could be good. It is way too soft and yeasty. Very boring, and slightly watery. For not being offensive I give it an average mark.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 TAR (2346) - Lafayette, Colorado, USA - NOV 7, 2001
This is not a very good lager...at all. Seemed way too dry and flavorless.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Suttree (4453) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 25, 2003
Dark copper, kahki head. Bready, yeasty aroma. Nice and full bodied. Salty, veggie (califlower?) flavor. decent finish, but the veggie flavor dominates. can't recommend.

Nothing distinguishing about this brew. Typical for all microbrew lagers. Slightly bitter and tangy. Not very complex, but pretty drinkable. An average brew at best.

Slightly vinegar smell. Sweet and creamy. Slightly cloudly amber orange liquid fizzy head. First taste very carmelly, with an acrid almost vinegary fruit hint. Whole experience similar to drinking syrup flavored with raspberry candies.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ROGUE (1566) - Newark, Delaware, USA - NOV 19, 2009
12oz bottle. Poured a clear dark amber color with a two finger whitish head. Aroma brown sugar and mild spice. Taste was more sweet than bitter, with sweet caramel malts and some hop balancing. A strange bitter flavor throughout. Somewhat thin, very carbonated.

There really isn’t much remarkable here. It’s, well...an amber lager. Slight malt. Slight hops. Slight flavor. Inoffensive, for what it’s worth.
