beerguy101 (3419), Newark, California, USA Jul 11, 2008 This Marzen pours a medium amber color from a 50cl flip top bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel and bready, with a touch of floral hops. Medium bodied Marzen. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are slightly floral. Perhaps a touch thin tasting. Carbonation is lively but kind of full in the mouth. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. bhensonb (2713), Woodland, California, USA Jun 28, 2008 500 ml swing-top from BevMo. Copper amber color with a decent beige/tan head. Mild caramel aroma. Near medium body with smooth, creamy carbonation. Flavor is lightly caramel with a touch of noble hop. It has a slight astringency in the finish. Quite drinkable. duff (5403), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Mar 2, 2007 Bottle. Cereally malt notes. Slightly sweet, with some alchol notes, which was odd as its not too strong. Some subtle grassy hops in the finish, but i thought this was more malty. diabel (1188), Aarschot, Belgium Sep 29, 2006 Bottle Clear, amber body. Off-white frothy head. Nice aroma of vanilla, flowers, hops, soap, ... Moderately bitter, lightly sweet initial flavour. Moderately bitter, lightly salty finish. Not very well balanced. harrisoni (4896), Ashford, Kent, Kent, England Sep 27, 2006 Bottle - Bruxellensis Festival. Crystal clear amber, thin beige head. Toffee, caramel candy sugar. Some choc malt.
